Threshold explores the charged stillness of the moment before departure: standing at the threshold, facing outward, not yet moving. The piece unfolds slowly through a series of sustained harmonic states, where the attention is drawn less to arrival or resolution than to the quality of waiting itself. Deliberately sparse material creates space for a particular kind of suspended listening, shaped by the tension between stillness and the imminence of motion.
