Co:Creation is an electronic work created for a short film by Harriet Davey, made as part of a documentary following five Berlin-based artists. The film reinterprets and recontextualises the triptych of Hieronymus Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights, imagining the creatures who were never present to have been painted in his original work.
The music occupies a similarly threshold space, distant and choral, with a quality closer to resonance than melody. It sits at the edge of the recognisable, lending the work an atmosphere that is neither wholly sacred nor wholly strange.
The piece premiered at the Julia Stoschek Foundation, Berlin, as part of the screening of Cosmos Dark Layers Shifting Fãçts, and was subsequently broadcast on ARD Kultur.
